Main Purpose
This position is responsible for maintaining stock levels within warehouse locations by picking and replenishing stock according to system-generated instructions and standard operating procedures. The Forklift Driver will also ensure safe warehouse operations and maintain productivity targets during each work cycle.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick and replenish stock in warehouse locations
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Perform forklift inspections at the start of each shift
- Complete equipment checklists and damage control forms
- Operate scanners according to company procedures
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in work areas
- Follow health and safety regulations and SOPs
- Ensure stock scanning is completed correctly and in sequence
- Carry out additional reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Minimum 2 years previous work experience
- Valid forklift licence
