Sun International is looking for a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Receptionist to join the Wild Coast team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to grow in the hospitality industry.
🔹 Main Duties
✔ Welcome and greet guests professionally.
✔ Handle guest check-ins and check-outs.
✔ Issue room keys and process payments.
✔ Prepare guest bills and manage bookings.
✔ Answer calls and respond to guest enquiries.
✔ Provide information about hotel facilities and promotions.
✔ Handle reservations online, telephonically, and walk-ins.
✔ Keep guest records and billing information updated.
✔ Assist VIP guests and prepare welcome amenities.
✔ Handle guest complaints politely and professionally.
✔ Report maintenance or housekeeping issues.
✔ Balance float and complete end-of-shift cash-ups.
✔ Keep the reception desk clean and organised.
✔ Upsell hotel services and facilities.
🔹 Minimum Requirements
✔ Grade 12 / Matric.
✔ 2 years customer service experience.
✔ Hotel experience will be an advantage.
✔ Computer literacy (MS Office).
✔ Opera hotel system knowledge preferred.
✔ Good communication skills.
✔ Telephone etiquette.
✔ Problem-solving ability.
✔ Team player attitude.
✔ Professional appearance and behaviour.

✔ Must be willing to work shifts.
✔ Able to stand for long periods.
✔ Flexible to assist in other departments when needed.
✔ Additional language skills will be an advantage.
