Cleaner Job Opportunity – Tsebo (Upington, Northern Cape)
Tsebo Cleaning and Hygiene Solutions is currently looking for Temporary/Casual Cleaners to join their team in Upington, Northern Cape. Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Clean toilets, offices, reception areas, equipment, and state property daily.
• Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and on time.
• Empty office dustbins daily and dispose of refuse correctly.
• Collect recyclable paper waste and place it in marked bins.
• Check bathrooms twice a day and clean when necessary.
• Dust office furniture regularly to keep offices neat and tidy.
• Vacuum carpets at least twice a week.
• Clean inside windows quarterly according to the cleaning schedule.
• Keep all cleaning materials and equipment stored neatly in designated cupboards.
• Assist in preparing meeting rooms and boardrooms before meetings.
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) rules at all times.
• Maintain a positive attitude and good communication with team members.
• Help with any other tasks when requested by management.
Skills and Competencies Required
• Good communication skills.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and cleaning practices.
• Knowledge of different cleaning products and how to use them.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Understanding of workplace procedures and policies.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 11 minimum qualification with proven cleaning experience.
• Grade 12 certificate will be an added advantage.
• Candidates living in the local Upington area may be given preference.
