Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the YES Youth Opportunity, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 18 and 28 years old
- Have Grade 10 as the minimum qualification
- Matric is advantageous
- Be available to work a 12-month fixed-term contract
- Not be studying full-time during the programme period
- Not have participated in the YES Programme previously
- Not have been permanently employed by a single employer for more than 12 consecutive months
- Be able to cover their own transport and accommodation costs where applicable
