Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide excellent customer service through efficient point-of-sale operations, accurate cash handling, merchandising, and maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently at the till point.
- Scan merchandise and collect payments while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Handle cash safely and follow company cash-management procedures.
- Promote the Clicks ClubCard programme and register new members.
- Inform customers about promotions, discounts, and special offers.
- Deliver friendly, professional, and helpful customer service.
- Assist with merchandising and product displays according to company standards.
- Maintain store cleanliness and general housekeeping.
- Support company values and contribute to a positive shopping environment.
- Stay informed about products, promotions, and events to assist customers effectively.

Minimum Requirements
Education
- Grade 12 (Matric) – Essential.
- Mathematics 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level – Advantageous.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or FMCG environment is advantageous but not required.
