General Worker – VKB Retail Newcastle
The General Worker position at VKB Group is a permanent entry-level opportunity based in Newcastle under the VKB Commercial Services division. Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain general tidiness of the workplace and premises.
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties regularly.
- Assist customers and suppliers with loading and offloading stock.
- Help with stock control and handling procedures.
- Provide customer service when assisting clients in the store or yard.
- Carry out ad hoc duties assigned by supervisors.
- Ensure the premises remain neat, safe, and organised at all times.
- Support daily operational activities within the retail division.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Ability to perform physically demanding manual labour.
- Good physical health and stamina.
- Willingness to add value to the workplace and assist where needed.

- Ability to work accurately, thoroughly, and carefully.
