Job Purpose
- The purpose of the role is to assist with general operational duties within the Condensed Milk Tin Packaging Department.
- Employees will support production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and effective operations.
- Duties include shrink-wrapping, sorting damaged products, loading, cleaning, and other production-related tasks.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general and basic operational duties.
- Carry out tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with handling and packaging products.
- Sort damaged or defective products.
- Perform shrink-wrapping duties.
- Assist with loading activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the workplace.
- Follow all Health and Safety regulations.
- Carry out additional ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
- Support the production team when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Fluent in Business English.
- Ability to work in extreme conditions.
- Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must successfully pass readiness assessments.
