Main Purpose
This position is for an experienced General Worker – Assistant Driver responsible for assisting with loading and offloading activities, supporting delivery operations, and ensuring general warehouse and vehicle cleanliness. The role is suited for individuals who can work in a fast-paced logistics environment and perform physically demanding tasks.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading company products
- Assisting drivers with delivery locations when required
- Reporting delivery-related problems to management
- Compiling delivery records and reports
- Obtaining customer signatures after deliveries
- Cleaning trucks and delivery vehicles
- Assisting with unloading vehicles after shifts
- Performing general housekeeping duties
- Following instructions from supervisors
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4
- Clean criminal record
- Medically fit
- Own reliable transport to and from work
- Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, transport, or logistics environment
Skills and Competencies
- Good communication skills
- Strong teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently without supervision

- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects repeatedly
