A leading brand in the food and beverage industry, Clover, is currently hiring 3 Merchandisers to join their Commercial team in Queensburgh. About the Role
As a Merchandiser, your main responsibility will be to service specific retail stores by ensuring that stock levels are maintained, shelves are properly arranged, and products are displayed according to company standards. You will play a key role in enhancing product visibility, improving customer experience, and supporting sales growth.
This role is ideal for individuals who are proactive, organised, and customer-focused, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple store visits.

Key Responsibilities
1. Stock Control & Ordering
- Monitor and maintain stock levels in-store
- Place accurate and timely stock orders
- Prevent out-of-stock situations and report shortages
- Manage and minimise returns and product claims
2. Merchandising & Shelf Management
- Pack and arrange shelves according to store flow and merchandising standards
- Ensure products are clean, neat, and properly displayed
- Maintain shelf layouts based on planograms (shelve plans)
- Ensure pricing labels (PI labels) are accurate and visible
- Set up and maintain promotional and point-of-sale materials
3. Equipment & Store Maintenance
- Ensure fridges and display equipment are clean and functioning properly
- Maintain proper crate and equipment control according to company policy
4. Administration
- Complete all required merchandising reports and documentation
- Keep accurate records of stock, orders, and returns
5. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with:
- Store management
- Area Managers (AM)
- Head Office teams
- Customers and fellow merchandisers
- Communicate effectively to support store performance and operations
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent (NQF Level 4)
- Fluent Business English
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
