Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

📘 Key Responsibilities
The Class Assistant will support the teacher and learners to ensure that teaching and learning activities run efficiently and effectively.
Primary duties include:
- Assisting the class teacher in the daily management of the classroom, including preparation of learning materials and classroom organization.
- Taking responsibility for all classroom equipment and stock, ensuring items are well cared for and properly maintained.
- Working closely with phase teachers to promote smooth coordination within the grade or learning phase.
- Creating and maintaining an educational, welcoming, and stimulating atmosphere in the classroom.
- Supporting teaching and learning activities, including reading, writing, numeracy, and creative play.
- Assisting in the planning and promotion of school activities, such as cultural events, sports programmes, and community engagement projects.
- Helping with administrative tasks, lesson preparation, record-keeping, and classroom displays.
- Taking part in extracurricular and sport activities, when required, to promote balanced learner development.
- Upholding Curro’s values and ensuring learners are guided with kindness, respect, and consistency.
