DHL Supply Chain South Africa is currently seeking a Reach Truck Driver to join its operations at Ndlovu Park in Pietermaritzburg. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to work in a fast-paced environment within a globally respected organisation.
Role Overview
The Reach Truck Driver position operates in a busy and high-volume warehouse environment supporting FMCG supply chain operations. The role requires strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards while ensuring accurate handling, storage, and movement of stock.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating reach truck equipment, replenishing stock, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency in line with company procedures and performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
The Reach Truck Driver will be responsible for the following duties:
- Contributing to a productive and efficient working environment
- Operating within different warehouse areas as required by management
- Handling goods with care to minimise stock damage
- Following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Performing administrative duties in line with warehouse procedures
- Supporting continuous improvement and change initiatives
- Maintaining high standards of honesty, integrity, and attention to detail
- Ensuring warehouse housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained
- Operating equipment correctly and reporting faults using MHE checklists
- Ensuring pallets meet stacking and safety standards
- Reporting and recording non-conformances, unsafe acts, or damaged stock
- Performing stock replenishment and put-away into racking or shuttle systems
- Participating in stock counts and inventory checks
- Adhering strictly to all Health and Safety regulations
- Completing tasks within required timelines and KPIs
- Ensuring product safety, quality, and integrity are not compromised
- Performing additional duties as assigned by management

Experience Requirements
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in warehousing, logistics, or FMCG environments
- Practical experience operating reach trucks in a warehouse setting
Qualifications and Licensing
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid Reach Truck Licence (essential)
