About the Learnership
The MTN Learnership Programme is designed to combine theoretical knowledge with practical workplace experience. Successful candidates will be placed within the Bayobab business unit, where they will support various administrative, coordination, and reporting activities.
Learners will work in a professional office environment and will be expected to assist teams with daily operations while learning organisational processes, governance standards, and workplace best practices. Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful learner will be required to perform a variety of administrative and support functions, which may include but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative and coordination support to managers and team members
- Assisting with the planning, scheduling, and facilitation of meetings
- Preparing, typing, and formatting reports, presentations, and official documents
- Taking meeting minutes and managing follow-up actions
- Supporting internal and external stakeholder communication
- Collecting, collating, and organising information for reporting purposes
- Assisting with governance, compliance, and documentation processes
- Supporting training, communication, and transformation-related initiatives
- Helping to define, update, and maintain internal procedures and controls
- Performing general office and administrative duties as required

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria to be considered for the MTN Learnership Programme 2026:
- A completed 3- or 4-year Degree or Diploma from a recognised tertiary institution
- Basic understanding of administrative or office-based work environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
