DHL Supply Chain South Africa is currently looking for experienced, professional, and hardworking Code 14 Truck Drivers to join their dynamic logistics team in Kariega/Uitenhage. As a Code 14 Truck Driver at DHL Supply Chain, successful candidates will play an important role in ensuring the efficient transportation and delivery of goods while maintaining high operational standards. Drivers will be responsible for handling deliveries safely, professionally, and on time while protecting company assets and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Ensure safe and efficient delivery of goods according to company procedures
✔ Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects immediately
✔ Maintain vehicle cleanliness and hygiene at all times
✔ Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately and on time
✔ Follow loading and off-loading procedures correctly
✔ Count and verify parcels against manifests and invoices
✔ Ensure customers sign for correct deliveries
✔ Follow all road safety regulations and company driving procedures
✔ Communicate professionally with customers and team members
✔ Attend daily debriefing sessions after trips
✔ Maintain company image by wearing clean and presentable uniforms
🔹 Minimum Requirements:
✅ Matric certificate
✅ Valid Code 14 Driver’s Licence
✅ Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
✅ Working knowledge of K53 road regulations
✅ No licence endorsements
✅ Good communication and writing skills in English
✅ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
✅ Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
