Tsebo Solutions Group is currently looking for a dedicated and caring Ward Hostess to join the Fedics division in Gqeberha. This opportunity is suitable for individuals who are passionate about customer service, food service, and patient care within a healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive the correct meals according to doctor and patient instructions while maintaining excellent hygiene, food quality, and customer service standards.
📌 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
✔ Ensure all patients receive the correct meals according to dietary instructions
✔ Complete patient menu cards accurately
✔ Ensure patient water jugs and glasses are clean and filled with ice water throughout the day
✔ Provide prompt and efficient tea service
✔ Maintain company and hospital standards and procedures
✔ Treat patients with kindness, respect, and professionalism
✔ Assist in preparing meals, including salads and desserts
✔ Follow food safety, hygiene, and health standards at all times
✔ Deliver excellent customer service within the ward environment
✔ Work effectively with team members and hospital staff
✅ MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
🔹 Matric / Grade 12 certificate
🔹 Good communication skills
🔹 Ability to work quickly and safely
🔹 Must be reliable, honest, and hardworking
🔹 Good personal hygiene
🔹 Ability to work well in a team environment
🔹 Physically fit and able to stand, bend, and lift when required
🔹 Must be willing to work 45–50 hours per week
