Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean public areas such as corridors, stairways, elevators, and toilets.
- Dust and polish furniture, fittings, decorations, and fixtures.
- Vacuum carpets in function rooms, hallways, and lobby areas.
- Clean windows, doors, walls, ceilings, floors, and light fittings.
- Empty rubbish bins and ashtrays regularly.
- Replace guest supplies in public toilets when needed.
- Report damages in public areas to supervisors immediately.
- Handle hotel equipment carefully and store trolleys safely after use.
- Ensure corridors and walls are not damaged by cleaning trolleys.
- Return hotel keys or key cards after duties are completed.
- Hand in lost property items found in public areas to management.
Customer Service Expectations
- Greet guests politely and warmly when entering rooms or public spaces.
- Introduce yourself respectfully when assisting customers.
- Always maintain a friendly smile and professional attitude.
- Help create a welcoming environment for all hotel guests.
Staff Conduct and Appearance
- Maintain high personal hygiene standards at all times.
- Wear clean uniform and present yourself professionally.
- Be punctual and arrive at work on time daily.
- Keep private cellphones in lockers or hand them to security during working hours.
- Respect colleagues and work together as a team.
- Show professionalism, maturity, and emotional intelligence.
