Position Overview
The role of Office Cleaner is essential in ensuring that the company’s office and warehouse spaces remain clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times. You will be responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards while supporting daily operations by creating a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
This role requires someone who is proactive, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
As an Office Cleaner, your daily duties will include:
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the office and warehouse areas
- Cleaning floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal spaces regularly
- Ensuring that canteens and restrooms are fully stocked with necessary supplies
- Developing and following cleaning routines to ensure consistency
- Using appropriate cleaning products and equipment for different tasks
- Placing safety signage (such as wet floor signs) when necessary
- Responding to cleaning needs during operational hours as they arise
- Assisting with general upkeep to ensure a neat and organized environment
- Supporting team members and interacting professionally with staff and visitors
- Performing additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as required
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- At least 2 years of experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken)
- Must have a clean criminal record
- Provide contactable references
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
Preferred Skills and Attributes
While not mandatory, the following will be advantageous:
- Ability to speak additional languages such as isiZulu, isiXhosa, or Afrikaans
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Working Conditions
- This is a permanent position
- Employees are required to work a 6-day week (45 hours)

Salary and Benefits
- Annual salary: R72,740.28
