Job Purpose

The primary purpose of the Clinic Packer role is to prepare, control, and pack clinic supplies, equipment, and hampers according to operational requirements and approved checklists.

The successful candidate will ensure that all clinic materials are clean, functional, and safely packed before distribution to healthcare facilities. This role plays an essential part in maintaining efficient clinic operations and supporting healthcare teams delivering critical services to communities.


Key Duties and Responsibilities
Packing and Preparation of Clinic Supplies
  • Prepare clinic supply boxes, hampers, and equipment according to clinic size and operational requirements
  • Pack equipment following approved checklists and quality standards
  • Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use
  • Verify that supplies are complete before dispatch
Equipment Control and Maintenance
  • Arrange repair or replacement of damaged equipment
  • Ensure routine validation and maintenance requirements are followed
  • Monitor equipment condition and report faults when identified
  • Maintain accurate control of clinic inventory items
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Perform basic administrative and clerical duties linked to packing operations
  • Maintain packing records and documentation accurately
  • Ensure all documentation is completed efficiently and submitted on time
Operational Support
  • Assist with loading and off-loading clinic equipment and supplies
  • Support transportation preparation processes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the packing environment

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Stand for extended periods during working hours
  • Carry loads of up to 14kg
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles
  • Climb stairs where operationally required

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric certificate)
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s licence
