The Client Service Consultant serves as the initial point of contact for clients needing support with inward and outward foreign exchange (Forex) payments. Consultants will also contribute to the unit’s sales goals by identifying opportunities, converting leads into active accounts, and helping the team meet annual performance targets. Beyond answering questions, this role requires building relationships, ensuring compliance, and offering a seamless client experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Client Service Consultant, you will be expected to:

  • Act as the primary support contact for clients dealing with Forex payment queries, ensuring responses are prompt and professional.
  • Deliver exceptional service, going beyond standard expectations through proactive engagement and tailored solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical support, helping clients resolve issues related to payment processes or platform navigation.
  • Build sustainable client relationships, maintaining trust and demonstrating reliability through clear, respectful communication.
  • Supply accurate and complete information, using the appropriate systems and tools to ensure integrity and consistency.
  • Engage clients with enthusiasm, taking the extra step to ensure that every interaction adds value to the customer experience.

Qualifications and Experience Required

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of Grade 12, although a relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of experience handling high-level client queries related to Forex payments, ideally in a call-centre or client-care environment.
  • Financial services or banking experience is preferred, as it provides context for the role’s operational environment.
  • A practical understanding of processing inward and outward Forex payments, including regulatory and procedural considerations.
