Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum ABET Level 4, Grade 10, or equivalent qualification.
  • Good physical health and fitness.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work productively and follow instructions.
  • Hospital cleaning experience will be an added advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean designated areas including:
    • Windows
    • Walls
    • Basins and sinks
    • Lockers
    • Beds
    • Kitchens
    • Bathrooms
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors.
  • Open windows daily to promote hygiene and infection control.
  • Perform damp and dry dusting in all assigned areas.
  • Empty dustbins and dispose of waste correctly.
  • Maintain and update toilet cleaning checklists.
  • Refill toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels when required.
  • Remove and store waste in designated areas.
  • Report hazardous conditions and safety concerns.
  • Maintain environmental cleanliness throughout the hospital.
  • Clean, store, and safeguard cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Report electrical or mechanical faults on cleaning equipment.
  • Comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Carry out general cleaning and support services as instructed.
