Minimum Requirements
- Minimum ABET Level 4, Grade 10, or equivalent qualification.
- Good physical health and fitness.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work productively and follow instructions.
- Hospital cleaning experience will be an added advantage.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean designated areas including:
- Windows
- Walls
- Basins and sinks
- Lockers
- Beds
- Kitchens
- Bathrooms
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors.
- Open windows daily to promote hygiene and infection control.
- Perform damp and dry dusting in all assigned areas.
- Empty dustbins and dispose of waste correctly.
- Maintain and update toilet cleaning checklists.
- Refill toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels when required.
- Remove and store waste in designated areas.
- Report hazardous conditions and safety concerns.
- Maintain environmental cleanliness throughout the hospital.
- Clean, store, and safeguard cleaning equipment and materials.
- Report electrical or mechanical faults on cleaning equipment.
- Comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Carry out general cleaning and support services as instructed.
