Purpose of the Role
Pedros is seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join its busy West Street store as Grillers. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and grilling menu items according to Pedros’ quality, food safety, and presentation standards while ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, season, and grill chicken and other menu items according to approved recipes.
- Monitor cooking temperatures, cooking times, and portion control.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any faults.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
- Rotate stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
- Minimise food waste and ensure proper stock management.
- Clean grills, workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment regularly.
- Assist with stock counts and ingredient preparation.
- Support kitchen operations during busy periods.
- Comply with all health, safety, and company policies.
