Programme Overview
The Truworths Store Work Integrated Learning Programme is designed for students who have completed an N6 National Certificate and require practical workplace experience to complete their qualification requirements. Key Responsibilities
Participants will be expected to:
- Learn and develop knowledge relevant to the retail environment.
- Assist customers in locating merchandise and products.
- Provide excellent customer service and support.
- Merchandise products according to company standards and principles.
- Process customer purchases and payments accurately.
- Assist customers with opening new store accounts.
- Help prevent and control stock losses.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Ensure customer safety and security within the store.
- Support daily store operations and administrative activities.
- Participate in learning and development activities.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have completed an N6 National Certificate in one of the following fields:
- Human Resources (HR)
- Business Administration
- Office Administration
- Business Management
- Management Assistant
- Business Studies
- Or a related qualification
- Have no previous work experience.
- Be computer literate.
- Be willing to work in a retail environment.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be eager to learn and develop professionally.
