Position Overview
The General Worker at Farmpack will perform essential operational tasks requiring minimal induction. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are physically capable, hardworking, and eager to contribute to a team-oriented agricultural environment.
The role requires performing manual labour, supporting operational processes, maintaining general housekeeping, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Handling: Pack, load, and offload stock as required, ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness across work areas, including general premises cleaning.
- Stock Control Support: Assist with stock counting and management when necessary.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support operational efficiency.
- Compliance: Follow company rules, policies, and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe and productive workplace.
This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to contribute effectively to team goals and operational success.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform hard manual labour consistently.
