✅ Gaming Operations Learnership (Cashier)

Programme Duration: 12 Months
This programme prepares learners for cashier and gaming floor operational roles within the casino environment. Participants will develop customer service, cash handling, compliance, and gaming administration skills required in the entertainment and hospitality sector.
✅ Gaming Technical & Floor Assistant Learnership (Slots)

Qualification: National Certificate in Gaming Technical & Floor Assistance
NQF Level: Level 3
Programme Duration: 12 Months
This technical learnership focuses on gaming equipment operations and maintenance. Learners will gain hands-on exposure to slot machines, gaming kiosks, displays, and related operational systems.

🛠 Key Duties and Responsibilities
Gaming Operations (Cashier) Learners
Participants will be trained to:
- Ensure workstations and gaming equipment are operational
- Maintain cleanliness within assigned gaming areas
- Welcome and assist guests professionally
- Perform gaming machine counts and daily reconciliations
- Capture operational data accurately into systems
- Report suspicious or irregular transactions
- Maintain accurate filing and documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Gaming Technical & Floor Assistant (Slots) Learners
Learners will gain experience in:
- Assisting guests with gaming-related enquiries
- Cleaning and servicing gaming machines
- Replacing minor equipment components
- Testing displays, card readers, and kiosks
- Maintaining gaming tables and promotional equipment
- Moving and positioning gaming machines
- Ensuring workshop safety and cleanliness
- Securing and storing operational equipment
✅ Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Matric Certificate or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
- Valid South African Identity Document
- English passed as a subject
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Willingness to work in smoking and non-smoking environments
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-presented and professional appearance
- Self-motivated with strong initiative
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle equipment and tools where required
