Seriti is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for its Engineering Learnership Programme at Middelburg Mine Services in Mpumalanga.

About the Learnership
The Engineering Learnership Programme provides participants with practical training and workplace experience in engineering-related trades. The programme aims to develop technical skills that support the mining and industrial sectors.
Learners will gain exposure to industry-standard equipment, maintenance procedures, safety practices, and technical operations while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Applicants may apply for one of the following disciplines:
- Auto Electrician
- Boilermaker
- Diesel Mechanic
- Fitter
- Rigger
Candidates should clearly indicate the trade they are applying for when submitting their application.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following academic requirements:
Option 1
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy)
- Physical Science
- Minimum 40% (Symbol E) in required subjects
- Two relevant N2 trade-related subjects
Option 2
- N2 Qualification
- Four relevant trade-related subjects

Additional Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be willing to undergo psychometric assessments
- Be willing to work shifts when required
- Be available for standby duties and call-outs when necessary
- Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Be capable of working under pressure
- Be able to identify faults and technical issues
- Be medically fit or able to obtain a Certificate of Fitness
- Possess a valid K53 driver’s licence
