ROLE OVERVIEW
Hollywoodbets is currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join its Purple Team in The Bluff, Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages and light meals, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and serve drinks and snacks efficiently and professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas before, during, and after shifts
• Monitor stock levels, ensure proper stock rotation, and record stock accurately
• Process customer orders using the POS (GAAP) system
• Handle cash and card payments responsibly and reconcile sales at the end of each shift
• Greet customers, present menus, and make product recommendations
• Address customer queries and resolve complaints effectively
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and service standards
• Maintain a professional appearance in line with company dress code
REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience in the service or hospitality industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude
• Experience with POS systems and stock management (advantageous)
