Tsebo Cleaning & Hygiene Solutions is currently recruiting Temporary Cleaners to join their team in Upington. This role is ideal for individuals with cleaning experience who are committed to maintaining high hygiene standards in a commercial environment.
As part of Tsebo Solutions Group, a leading African Integrated Workplace Management Solutions provider, you will contribute to creating clean, safe, and organised workspaces. The position requires flexibility, as it is shift-based and may include weekends, overtime, and public holidays.
The successful candidate must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to complete tasks efficiently while following health and safety standards. This opportunity is suitable for individuals looking to gain or grow their experience in the cleaning and hygiene industry.
Main Duties
- Clean offices, toilets, and work areas thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of state property and equipment
- Clean reception areas daily
- Empty dustbins and dispose of waste properly
- Collect recyclable materials for disposal
- Check and clean bathrooms regularly (at least twice daily)
- Dust furniture and office equipment
- Vacuum carpets at least twice a week
- Clean windows (inside) on a rotational schedule
- Store cleaning equipment properly after use
- Assist in preparing meeting rooms or boardrooms
- Use cleaning materials and equipment effectively
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations
- Maintain cleanliness standards at all times
- Assist with additional duties when required
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 11 qualification
- Cleaning experience (required)
- Grade 12 certificate (advantageous)
- Basic literacy and communication skills
- Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to work in a team
