Safety and Compliance (OHSA)
- Operate forklift according to safety regulations and company policies
- Avoid overloading shelves or forklift capacity
- Wear required protective equipment such as helmets and safety belts
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report faults immediately
- Keep entrances, exits, and loading zones clear of obstacles
- Follow all occupational health and safety procedures at all times
Loss Prevention and Security
- Identify and report stock gaps or suspicious activity
- Ensure products are not loaded without valid proof of purchase
- Protect company assets by following security guidelines
- Support stock control and shrinkage prevention initiatives
✅ Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or at least 1 year of relevant work experience
- Valid forklift operator license (essential)
- Good communication skills in English and a local language
- Basic mathematics skills for stock handling and pricing
- Physically fit and able to operate machinery for extended periods
