Position Overview
Auto Pedigree is currently inviting applications for a Driver/Cleaner at its Midrand branch. This role is ideal for an honest, dependable, and hardworking individual who has driving experience and takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness and quality standards.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide efficient transport services in line with company procedures and legal requirements, while ensuring that vehicles and premises are kept clean, professional, and customer-ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
Vehicle Cleaning and Presentation
- Thoroughly cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors to Auto Pedigree’s high standards
- Ensuring all vehicles on display are spotless, presentable, and ready for customers
- Performing regular quality checks on vehicles to identify any issues
Quality Control
- Identifying expired vehicle licenses and reporting them immediately
- Reporting any damage, mechanical concerns, or quality issues
- Ensuring vehicles comply with company standards before delivery
Driving and Deliveries
- Delivering vehicles to customers safely and professionally
- Collecting and delivering documentation from banks, suppliers, and clients
- Transporting vehicles between branches or service providers when required
- Following all road safety regulations and company driving policies
Premises Maintenance
- Maintaining overall cleanliness of the branch premises
- Supporting a professional and welcoming environment for customers
Company Integrity
- Acting ethically at all times
- Safeguarding company vehicles, documentation, and assets
- Representing the company positively during customer interactions
Additional Duties
- Assisting with operational tasks when requested by management
- Supporting team members during busy periods
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant driving and cleaning experience
- Valid Code 08 driver’s licence (unendorsed)
- Own reliable transport
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual preferred)
- Ability to read and follow maps or navigation directions
