Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

General tidiness is a top priority in every GWK Retail branch. Workers will assist with sweeping, cleaning, removing debris, tidying storage areas, and ensuring that the shop floor is presentable at all times.
2. Loading and Offloading Stock
Workers will help customers, suppliers, and delivery teams by loading and offloading items safely and efficiently. This must be done according to company policies and standard operating procedures.
3. Basic Housekeeping
General housekeeping tasks, including cleaning equipment, organising shelves, and maintaining a safe environment, form part of daily responsibilities.
4. Customer Service Support
General Workers are expected to assist customers politely and professionally by helping with stock movement, offering guidance, and responding to simple requests.
5. Stock Control Assistance
Although this is not an administrative role, workers may support stock control efforts by reporting shortages, assisting with counts, and ensuring products are stored correctly.
6. Performing Ad Hoc Duties
