Job Title: Teacher - Mathematical Literacy Grade 10-12 Full-time Job

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team in teaching Mathematical Literacy to students in grades 10-12. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a passion for helping students understand and apply mathematical concepts in real-world situations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the curriculum for Mathematical Literacy in grades 10-12
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students, promoting active participation and critical thinking
- Provide instruction and support to students in understanding mathematical concepts and solving problems in practical scenarios
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve academic success
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary lesson plans and projects that integrate Mathematical Literacy with other subject areas
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns or challenges
- Stay current on educational best practices and resources for teaching Mathematical Literacy, incorporating new strategies and technologies into instruction as appropriate

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field
- Teaching certification or credentials in the relevant subject area
- Experience teaching Mathematical Literacy in grades 10-12 or related levels
- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and practical applications relevant to the curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
