Job Summary: General Worker – Stacker

👉 Main Purpose
The main purpose of this role is to support the smooth running of the Promix department by performing manual stacking, handling materials, and ensuring that all production processes meet safety and operational standards. The position plays a key role in maintaining workflow efficiency by ensuring finished products are properly stacked, inspected, and prepared for storage or distribution. Attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures are essential in this role, as it involves working with machinery and maintaining product quality.
🔹 What You’ll Be Doing (Key Duties)
- Manually removing finished products and materials from machinery
- Stacking and palletizing products according to company standards
- Inspecting products for defects and reporting any issues
- Applying correct date codes and product labels
- Performing general physical labour, including lifting loads up to 25kg
- Keeping the workspace clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Completing production and finished goods documentation accurately
- Assisting maintenance teams with basic troubleshooting when required
- Checking seals and packaging quality to ensure standards are met
- Carrying out sanitation and cleaning duties as assigned
🔹 Requirements
🎓 Education
- Matric / Grade 12 is required
🧠 Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a milling or production environment
- 6 to 12 months of experience working as a stacker or in a similar role

- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Good verbal communication skills
- Capability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of physical fitness and stamina
- Strong focus and attention to detail
