Job Purpose

The purpose of the Admin Clerk: Data Capturer role is to support the Traffic and Administrative Department by accurately capturing data, managing records, and assisting with clerical duties. The role ensures that traffic violations, fines, and related documentation are properly recorded and processed within the municipal system.

Key Responsibilities

The Admin Clerk: Data Capturer will be responsible for the following duties:

Data Capturing & Records Management
  • Capturing traffic offences, fines, camera violations, and accident data into the municipal TCS system
  • Ensuring accuracy and completeness of all captured information
  • Maintaining proper filing and record-keeping systems for future reference
Administrative Duties
  • Preparing court rolls and printing documentation as required
  • Performing typing, filing, and general office administration tasks
  • Managing diary and scheduling functions for the department
  • Assisting with correspondence and documentation preparation
Financial & Customer Service Support
  • Receiving traffic fine payments and issuing official receipts
  • Operating switchboard and handling public inquiries professionally
  • Assisting with general customer service and front-office support
Legal & Compliance Support
  • Assisting with administrative processes related to traffic prosecution
  • Supporting court-related documentation and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with municipal regulations and processes
General Duties
  • Performing ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
  • Supporting smooth daily operations within the department

Minimum Requirements
