As part of the cleaning team, your duties will include:
- Cleaning of hospital wards, floors, spillages, corridors, offices, and boardrooms
- Cleaning windows, doors, benches, bed wheels, staff and patient lockers, and fridges
- Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, and ensuring hygiene standards are maintained
- High-level dusting and maintenance of surfaces
- Collection and returning of food trolleys to the main kitchen
- Washing and maintaining kitchen utensils
- Replacing toilet paper, hand towels, and air fresheners
- Cleaning hospital machines and equipment after use
- Updating cleaning checklists and requesting cleaning materials when needed
This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to hygiene protocols. You will work closely with other staff to maintain a safe and sanitary hospital environment.
📌 Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Ability to read and write (ABET or equivalent qualification is required)
- Previous hospital experience is advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
- Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts
