What You’ll Do
As a Merchandiser Learnership participant, your daily responsibilities include:
Stock Management
- Count, document, and manage stock levels
- Unpack, organize, and replenish products efficiently
- Maintain accurate records to support store operations
Visual Merchandising
- Design attractive product displays
- Plan store layouts to create engaging shopping experiences
- Use signage and in-store marketing to promote products
Product Maintenance
- Ensure all products are correctly priced, labeled, and in good condition
- Remove outdated, damaged, or expired products promptly
Collaboration & Customer Service
- Work with marketing, sales, and other teams to meet business goals
- Provide product advice and respond to customer queries
- Handle complaints professionally and courteously
Store Maintenance
- Keep shelves, store areas, and storerooms clean and organized
- Ensure a tidy and visually appealing shopping environment
Key Deliverables:
- Accurate stock records
- Well-maintained, visually appealing displays
- Strong teamwork and collaboration
- Excellent customer service and product knowledge

Requirements
To be eligible for this learnership, candidates must have:
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
- Proficiency in English
- Reside within 15 km of Stellenbosch / Eikestad
- Clear criminal record
- Own a smartphone (Vodacom SIM card preferred for this role)
Preferences:
- South African citizens between 18 and 35 years old
- Previous learnership or retail experience is advantageous
