About the Role

The General Worker will support daily production operations by performing basic manual and operational tasks within the FETA Pack Abtech and Feta Production areas. This includes shrink-wrapping, handling products, sorting damaged items, cleaning, loading, and assisting with any other duties required by the production team.

This role requires individuals who can work efficiently under pressure, follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintain high levels of hygiene and safety in a food production environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

🏭 Production Support

• Performing general production tasks as assigned
• Shrink-wrapping finished goods and prepared products
• Handling products carefully to prevent damage or contamination
• Sorting damaged or non-compliant items

📦 Loading and Movement of Goods

• Loading products for storage or dispatch
• Assisting with movement of stock within production areas
• Ensuring efficient workflow throughout the facility

🧹 Housekeeping and Cleanliness

• Maintaining clean and hygienic workstations
• Following housekeeping standards required in food production
• Ensuring work areas remain safe and organised

🛡 Health and Safety Compliance

• Following all health and safety regulations
• Using protective equipment where required
• Reporting hazards or unsafe conditions immediately

📋 Additional Duties

• Carrying out ad-hoc tasks as instructed by management
• Supporting team members to meet production targets
