A company is looking for a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to promote and sell pharmaceutical products across different pharmacy environments, including independent pharmacies, pharmacy groups and corporate pharmacies.

💰 Salary: R20,000 CTC per month
💼 Contract: 3-Year Fixed Term

🎓 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Pharmacy or related field
✅ BCom graduates are encouraged to apply
✅ Pharmaceutical sales experience is advantageous but not essential – training will be provided
✅ Knowledge of pharmaceutical products, industry trends and regulatory requirements
✅ Strong verbal and written communication skills
✅ Good presentation skills
✅ Strong negotiation and selling abilities
✅ Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
✅ Good organisation and time-management skills
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
🚗 IMPORTANT
A valid driver’s licence is required, as the position involves extensive travelling within the assigned territory.
Applicants must have access to a personal vehicle for business travel. The role may involve long-distance driving and occasional overnight stays.
💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will visit pharmacies, promote pharmaceutical products, build relationships with pharmacists and decision-makers, manage customer queries, monitor market trends and work towards achieving sales targets.
You will also assist with product training and demonstrations for pharmacy staff and provide accurate product information.
The role includes pharmacovigilance responsibilities, such as reporting adverse drug reactions, product complaints and safety-related information according to company procedures.
