Woolworths is looking for a Flexi 28 Store Specialist: Interactive (Kitchen & Bakery) to join its team at the Sunningdale Corporate Store in KwaZulu-Natal. Key Responsibilities
The Store Specialist will be responsible for:
- Providing friendly, professional, and efficient customer service at the hot foods counter.
- Greeting customers and assisting them with product-related questions and enquiries.
- Advising customers on suitable products and offering alternatives where appropriate.
- Preparing and serving food products according to Woolworths policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, food safety, and personal presentation.
- Managing stock effectively, including stock rotation and monitoring products to minimise waste.
- Maintaining attractive and well-presented product displays.
- Developing and maintaining strong knowledge of products, new lines, and promotions.
- Following shop-keeping disciplines and completing required documentation accurately.
- Recording information such as temperature checks and price adjustments when required.
- Reporting dishonesty, shrinkage, or stock-related concerns to management.
- Following all operational, safety, and company procedures.
- Maintaining good attendance, punctuality, dress-code, and hygiene standards.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing positively to the effectiveness of the team.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF-level qualification.
- Ability and willingness to work various shifts.
