Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
The Permanent Part-Timer will be responsible for:
- Providing a high level of adidas customer service to every customer.
- Greeting customers and helping them find the right products.
- Using selling techniques such as add-on sales to increase sales opportunities.
- Explaining product features and technical information to customers.
- Processing regular sales transactions involving cash, credit and other payment methods.
- Developing proficiency with the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Following all POS policies and procedures to maintain transaction integrity.
- Assisting with product ticketing and checking paperwork against received stock.
- Supporting the movement of products from the stockroom to the sales floor.
- Assisting with merchandise displays according to store management guidelines.
- Maintaining general housekeeping standards, including cleaning the store.
- Safeguarding company assets.
- Monitoring the sales floor and reporting suspicious activity.
- Following loss-prevention and security procedures.
- Taking part in in-store and digital training to improve product knowledge and role-related skills.
- Becoming familiar with Power BI tools to better understand store performance and product trends.
- Assisting management with general store maintenance and daily operational tasks.
Minimum Requirements

- Matric certificate.
- 0–1 years of retail experience.
- A genuine passion for retail and customer service.
- Clear and upbeat communication skills.
- The ability to use initiative and work independently when required.
- Flexibility to work during the week, evenings and weekends.
- Previous fashion retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
