Woolworths is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Store Specialist: Beauty: Clinique to join its beauty team at Gateway Durban. Key Responsibilities
As a Store Specialist: Beauty: Clinique, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert beauty advice and personalised consultations to customers.
- Promoting Woolworths Beauty products, new product launches and in-store promotions.
- Working towards and achieving sales targets through active selling and customer engagement.
- Using your product knowledge to educate customers and confidently recommend suitable beauty products.
- Keeping up to date with current beauty trends, brands and products.
- Ensuring that products are available, correctly displayed and merchandised according to brand standards.
- Maintaining attractive and well-presented beauty displays.
- Ensuring testers and beauty areas meet high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety.
- Processing customer transactions accurately and following required operational and administrative procedures.
- Supporting the wider store team in achieving department and store objectives.
- Following appropriate procedures to minimise stock loss and shrinkage.
- Maintaining a professional, well-groomed appearance that reflects the Woolworths brand.
- Being flexible and reliable when working different shifts and assisting with store operations when required.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants should have:
- Grade 12 / National Certificate.
- A qualification and/or experience in Cosmetology or another beauty-related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a beauty sales environment.
- Strong knowledge of beauty brands and products.
- A genuine passion for beauty, retail and selling.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- The ability to influence and persuade customers through product knowledge and professional advice.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A proactive, self-motivated and results-driven approach.
- A well-groomed professional appearance, including appropriate use of cosmetics.
- Flexibility to work different retail shifts.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
