Tsebo Cleaning and Hygiene Solutions is looking for hard-working, passionate and reliable individuals to join its Hospitality Team in Cape Town.
This opportunity is suited to candidates who enjoy working in a hospitality environment and are committed to maintaining clean, comfortable and welcoming spaces for guests.
The successful candidates should be flexible, able to work under pressure and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Being a reliable team player with good attention to detail is important for this role.

🧹 KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate may be responsible for:
- Changing bed linen and making beds according to required standards.
- Replacing used towels and bathroom amenities.
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Vacuuming carpets and maintaining clean floor areas.
- Dusting and polishing furniture.
- Emptying trash containers and ashtrays.
- Restocking beverages and food items in guest minibars.
- Cleaning public areas, including corridors and other assigned spaces.
- Reporting technical problems, damages and maintenance requirements.
- Updating the status of guest rooms and completing assignment sheets.
- Returning and restocking the cleaning cart at the end of each shift.
- Ensuring guest rooms and assigned areas are cleaned thoroughly and according to hospitality standards.
- Following all cleaning, hygiene, safety and company procedures.

Candidates should have:
- Good customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good time-management skills and the ability to service several rooms during a shift.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Professional and respectful behaviour when dealing with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Good communication skills in English.
🎓 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Matric / Grade 12
- 1–3 years’ housekeeping experience
- Ability to read, speak and write English
- Previous hospitality or housekeeping experience.
