🚨 SECURITY OFFICER X4 – eMKHOMAZI 🚨
Icebolethu Group is looking for 4 Security Officers to join their team in Umkomaas (eMkhomazi). The successful candidates will be responsible for protecting company premises, employees, visitors, assets and equipment while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

✅ REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
- Valid PSIRA registration/certification.
- Minimum 2 years’ proven experience as a Security Guard or Security Officer.
- Experience operating CCTV surveillance systems and security communication equipment.
- Must be physically fit and healthy.
- Certified in Self-Defense.
- First Aid / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Firearm Competency for Handgun, Shotgun or Rifle will be an added advantage.
- Advanced or Defensive Driving skills will be an added advantage.
- Strong observation and monitoring skills.
- Good knowledge of security and public safety procedures.
- Good report-writing skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must be vigilant, professional, disciplined and able to remain calm under pressure.
🔐 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidates will be responsible for safeguarding the company’s premises and ensuring the safety of employees, visitors and assets.
Duties will include:
- Controlling and monitoring access to the premises.
- Authorising the entry and exit of visitors and vehicles.
- Conducting regular foot patrols around the premises.
- Checking doors, windows and exits to ensure they are properly secured.
- Monitoring CCTV systems and surveillance equipment.
- Operating security communication equipment.
- Identifying suspicious behaviour and potential security threats.
- Responding quickly to alarms and security incidents.
- Investigating suspicious persons or activities.
- Assisting people who may be in distress.
- Handling security situations professionally and calmly.
- Removing trespassers from the premises where required.
- Detaining perpetrators in accordance with legal procedures until law enforcement arrives.
- Maintaining accurate daily security and surveillance logs.
- Recording incidents and occurrences.
- Preparing clear and accurate incident reports for management.
- Preventing theft, vandalism, criminal activity and unauthorised access.
- Performing other security-related duties as required.
📍 IMPORTANT LOCATION REQUIREMENT
