A reputable company in the Logistics, Warehouse & Freight sector is looking for an experienced and reliable Code 14 / EC Driver with DGP to join their team on a contractor basis.
This opportunity is suited to an experienced driver who is confident on the road, understands delivery operations and can work safely and responsibly while transporting customer goods.
🎯 JOB SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving company vehicles to designated destinations and ensuring that customer products are delivered safely, accurately and on time.
The driver must comply with all relevant road traffic laws, safety regulations and company procedures while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
📋 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Driving vehicles to designated destinations for customer product deliveries.
- Ensuring goods are delivered accurately and within the required timeframes.
- Following all road safety regulations and transportation laws.
- Conducting vehicle inspections before and during operations.
- Checking vehicles for mechanical faults and safety issues.
- Reporting any vehicle faults, incidents or operational issues immediately.
- Completing required delivery and activity reports.
- Handling customer deliveries in a professional manner.
- Ensuring that goods are transported safely and securely.
- Following company procedures and instructions at all times.
- Maintaining a high level of safety while performing driving and delivery duties.
🎓 REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Clean criminal record
- Minimum 5 years’ driving experience
- Valid EC / Code 14 driver’s licence
- Valid DGP
- Valid Defensive Driving Certificate
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Valid Fire Fighting Certificate

The ideal candidate should be an experienced, responsible and safety-conscious driver who can work independently and manage delivery responsibilities efficiently.
You should have good knowledge of road safety requirements and be able to identify and report vehicle-related problems.
Strong reliability, professionalism and attention to detail are important, as the successful candidate will be responsible for transporting customer products and representing the company during deliveries.
