📌 JOB SUMMARY
The Floor Advisor will be responsible for providing professional advice and support to customers, with a strong focus on animal health, veterinary products and agricultural inputs.
The successful candidate will assist customers with product selection, ensure products are available and contribute to creating a positive in-store customer experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has an interest in agriculture, farming, animal health, sales and customer service.
📝 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing customers with expert advice and product recommendations relating to animal health, veterinary products and agricultural inputs.
- Delivering excellent customer service and building positive relationships with customers.
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and identifying suitable solutions for their farming and animal health needs.
- Promoting products and supporting the achievement of branch sales objectives.
- Ensuring stock is correctly displayed, merchandised and readily available to customers.
- Assisting with stock ordering and stock control checks.
- Participating in regular stock counts.
- Receiving, sorting and storing goods according to company procedures.
- Maintaining a neat and professional store environment.
- Following all relevant Health and Safety requirements.
🎓 QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Applicants should have:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- A related qualification will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of agricultural input products and veterinary medicine.
- General farming knowledge.
- Good sales and marketing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good customer service skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A valid Code 08 Driver’s Licence.
- Willingness to travel when required.
