RCL Foods is a deeply rooted South African food manufacturer responsible for producing and distributing some of the country’s most recognised and loved food brands. Its portfolio includes well-known names such as Yum Yum peanut butter, Nola mayonnaise, Ouma rusks and Selati sugar, among others.

The company places strong emphasis on its purpose, “WE GROW WHAT MATTERS,” reflecting its commitment to creating meaningful and positive impact through its people, products, operations and communities.

Job Purpose

The Cashier will be responsible for receiving and processing cash deposits, ensuring that all cash received is accurately counted, recorded, balanced and prepared for banking.

This is a position that requires someone who is trustworthy, organised and highly attentive to detail. The successful candidate will need to ensure that physical cash corresponds with the relevant deposit documentation and that all transactions are properly recorded.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics.
  • Must reside in or around Vaal.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role or environment will be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a cash office or banking environment will be beneficial.

While previous experience is advantageous, it is not specifically stated as a mandatory requirement. Candidates who meet the qualification and location requirements may therefore be considered, particularly if they can demonstrate strong numerical, organisational and administrative abilities.

This opportunity would suit an individual who is interested in working within cash handling, banking, administration or commercial operations.

Candidates who have previously worked in a cash office, banking environment or another role involving cash reconciliation may have an advantage.
