ABOUT THE POSITION
AVBOB is looking for a reliable, hardworking and dedicated General Worker to join its Kempton Park Life Office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic and neat office environment. This role is ideal for an individual who takes pride in their work, has good interpersonal skills and is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning, housekeeping and general office support duties, including:
- Performing daily cleaning duties and maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the office.
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping office floors to ensure that all areas remain clean and presentable.
- Dusting office furniture, décor and flowers.
- Emptying and cleaning waste bins regularly.
- Cleaning and washing hand basins, toilets and sinks.
- Ensuring that bathrooms are kept clean, hygienic and well maintained.
- Checking and replenishing toilet paper, hand soap and other necessary bathroom supplies.
- Preparing and serving tea and coffee when required.
- Washing dishes, cups, utensils and dishcloths.
- Keeping the kitchen and refreshment areas clean and organised.
- Refilling tea and coffee dispensers.
- Checking and refilling water in the office water cooler.
- Washing and cleaning office windows.
- Reporting any maintenance, cleaning or supply-related issues to the relevant person.
- Ensuring that cleaning equipment and supplies are used responsibly and stored properly.
- Maintaining a professional and neat appearance while carrying out daily duties.
- Assisting with other general office housekeeping duties when required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum Grade 10 qualification.
- Previous cleaning experience will be a definite advantage.
- Ability to communicate in English will be a definite advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time-management and organisational skills.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
