Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) is inviting suitably qualified and recently graduated young South Africans to apply for several Young Professional-in-Training (YPT) opportunities across different fields and locations.
These are 24-month programmes designed to provide graduates with structured workplace exposure, practical experience, learning opportunities and organisational support.

1. Young Professional-in-Training – Legal
📍 Cape Town & Durban

- Degree in Legal/LLB or related qualification.

2. Young Professional-in-Training – IT / Computer Science

🎯 PROGRAMME PURPOSE
The Young Professional-in-Training programme provides recently qualified graduates with the opportunity to gain practical workplace experience over 24 months.
Participants will be exposed to different working functions and will be expected to:
- Complete tasks within their assigned workstream or department.
- Shadow experienced employees.
- Participate in learning activities.
- Attend meetings and workshops.
- Communicate with customers and understand their requirements.
- Assist with supplier and end-user queries.
- Conduct administrative and research activities.
- Participate in project work.
- Work independently and collaboratively with teams.
- Produce quality work that contributes to appropriate solutions.
