Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
The Laundry Services Aid will be responsible for:
- Collecting or receiving dirty laundry.
- Sorting laundry according to the required process.
- Providing laundry cleaning services.
- Operating laundry equipment such as washing machines and dryers.
- Using pressing equipment where required.
- Ensuring laundry is cleaned according to established procedures.
- Delivering clean and processed laundry to the appropriate areas.
- Keeping laundry areas clean and organised.
- Maintaining cleaning products and equipment.
- Taking proper care of washing machines, dryers, pressers and related equipment.
- Reporting equipment problems or defects where necessary.
- Following established workplace procedures.
- Performing other reasonable duties related to laundry services.
Minimum Qualification
Applicants must have:
- An NQF Level 3 qualification or Grade 11.
Experience
No previous experience is required.
Applicants do not need prior employment experience in a laundry, cleaning or similar role, provided they meet the minimum educational requirements.
Knowledge Required
