Job Details
Position: SDR (Sales Development Representative) / Patient Development & Sales Coordinator
Job ID: 20952
Location: Fully Remote — South Africa / Latin America / Philippines
Preferred Time Zone: Saskatchewan / Regina, Canada
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Market Related
Industry: Chiropractic / Healthcare / Rehabilitation
About the Company
This opportunity is with a fast-growing, rehabilitation-focused chiropractic clinic based in Saskatoon, Canada. The clinic works with active adults and athletes who want to return to training, competing and everyday life without limitations.
Unlike a traditional chiropractic practice, the clinic combines hands-on chiropractic care, objective movement testing, rehabilitation and strength-based recovery. The focus is on delivering a premium patient experience and achieving long-term results rather than providing quick fixes.
The successful candidate will join a team that values high standards, meaningful patient relationships and measurable outcomes. Although the position is remote, you will work closely with the in-clinic team to ensure prospective and existing patients receive a seamless experience.
About the Role
This is primarily a sales and patient development position, rather than an administrative role.
The SDR / Patient Development & Sales Coordinator will manage conversations with prospective and existing patients before, between and after appointments. You will be the company’s voice across phone calls, email, social media DMs and the CRM system.
Your goal will be to turn enquiries into committed patients, recover cancelled or missed appointments and re-engage former patients who have fallen out of care.
Many prospective patients may have had disappointing experiences with healthcare providers previously. The successful candidate must therefore be able to listen carefully, understand concerns and communicate with empathy while confidently explaining the value of the clinic’s approach.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Handling inbound calls from prospective and existing patients.
- Conducting scheduled 15–25 minute Discovery Calls.
- Helping prospective patients understand the clinic’s approach and services.
- Handling objections relating to price, scheduling and commitment.
- Converting enquiries into booked consultations.
- Following up with patients who cancel appointments or become overdue.
- Reactivating previous patients and encouraging them to return to care.
- Contacting new Instagram followers using established sales scripts.
- Converting social media conversations into consultation bookings.
- Managing outbound communication through phone, email and CRM systems.
- Monitoring personal conversion and recovery metrics.
- Identifying solutions when performance targets are not being met.
- Supporting pre-appointment communication with new patients.
- Ensuring patients arrive informed and prepared for their first visit.
- Coordinating with the in-clinic team to ensure smooth patient handovers.
What This Role Is Not
This is not a front-desk or in-person position. The clinic’s in-house team handles greeting patients, scheduling and the physical patient experience.
Insurance billing, workers’ compensation submissions and back-office administration are also handled by another dedicated administrator.
Success in this role is measured by results — including patient conversions, attendance, retention and reactivation — rather than simply completing a list of tasks.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage their own pipeline, organise their time effectively and proactively identify solutions.
Required Experience
Applicants should have:
- 2+ years of previous SDR-style experience.
- Previous experience in a chiropractic clinic or healthcare services environment.
- Strong telephone communication skills.
- Experience handling communication-heavy customer or patient interactions.
- The ability to confidently discuss pricing, value and commitment.
- Strong sales and objection-handling abilities.
- Basic GoHighLevel knowledge is advantageous, particularly updating information and managing pipeline stages.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking with people they have never met and building trust quickly.
You should communicate with warmth, clarity and confidence across phone calls and social media messages. Being able to remember names and personal details is important because patients should feel recognised and cared for even when interacting remotely.
You should also be:
- Results-driven and accountable.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong at follow-ups.
- Comfortable discussing price and value.
- Adaptable and quick to learn new systems and scripts.
- Open to coaching and constructive feedback.
- Comfortable working toward measurable conversion targets.
Working Schedule
This is a full-time, fully remote position.
Working hours will align with the clinic’s operating hours in Saskatchewan / Regina time. The schedule may include:
- 8:00 AM–5:00 PM on some days.
- 11:00 AM–7:00 PM on some days.
- Fridays: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Some morning, afternoon and early-evening availability will therefore be required. Exact scheduling will be discussed during the interview process.
What the Company Offers
Successful candidates can expect:
- Competitive full-time compensation based on experience.
- Performance-based bonus potential.
- Fully remote working arrangements.
- A structured, outcome-driven work environment.
- Genuine ownership of the patient development pipeline.
- Ongoing training and scripting support.
- Direct coaching from the clinic owner.
- Opportunities to develop sales and patient-conversion expertise.
- Exposure to the growth of a premium, systems-driven rehabilitation clinic.
How to Apply
Applicants who meet the requirements should submit a resume and brief cover letter.
Candidates are encouraged to explain an example of a time when they successfully guided a skeptical or hesitant person toward making a decision. This should demonstrate your ability to communicate, build trust, overcome objections and ultimately drive a positive outcome.
