Bidvest International Logistics (BIL) is inviting applications for a Graduate Programme within its Information Systems Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or final-year student who is interested in data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, reporting, and modern technology.
The successful candidate will be based at Greenstone, Gauteng, and will report to the Integrations Specialist. The programme will focus primarily on Data Analysis and will provide practical exposure to technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Microsoft Copilot, and other Microsoft technologies.

Purpose of the Programme
The purpose of the role is to support business decision-making through the collection, analysis, validation, and presentation of data.
The graduate will assist with developing reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions while gaining practical experience in data analytics, AI, automation, and business intelligence.
BIL is adopting AI-enabled analytics and automation, including Microsoft Copilot and approved technologies, to improve reporting efficiency, productivity, and business insights.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have:
Grade 12 / Matric.
A Bachelor’s Degree, BSc, BCom, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in:
Computer Science
Software Development
Computer Engineering
Information Technology or a related IT qualification.
Be a recent graduate or final-year student.
Good academic performance will be advantageous.
Microsoft or technology-related certifications will be advantageous.
Experience and Technical Knowledge
Candidates should have:
A basic understanding of SQL, including SELECT statements, joins, filtering, aggregations, and query troubleshooting.
An understanding of reporting, analytics, and data interpretation.
Exposure to Microsoft Power BI.
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric will be advantageous.
A strong interest in AI, automation, and data-driven problem-solving.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist with:
Monitoring and validating scheduled Power BI report refreshes.
Administration, maintenance, and monitoring of Microsoft Fabric workspaces, semantic models, dataflows, and data pipelines.
Testing and validating datasets, semantic models, reports, and dataflows.
Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs.
Assisting users with report navigation, interpretation, and self-service analytics solutions.
Analysing data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.
Developing effective prompts for Microsoft Copilot to support reporting, analysis, documentation, troubleshooting, and research.
Using approved AI tools to improve productivity and accelerate analytical activities.
Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive reporting and data preparation processes.
Supporting the achievement of improved analytical and business outcomes through modern technology.
